Ticket Scout Japan Information

All tickets are bought directly from fully licensed ticket agents who are members of JATA (社)日本旅行業協会正会員 {Japan Association of Travel Agents} and/or ANTA (社)全国旅行業協会正会員 {All Nippon Travel Agents Association}. We also scout tickets from America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and parts of Europe and Asia so we only use licensed ticket agencies from those respective countries as well. Just to clarify, we are not an agent but a ticket scout (finding) service and travel managers. We are on an island just off the coast of Kobe City which you can reach by train and/or bus directly from Kobe Airport, Umeda (Osaka), Namba (Osaka), or Sannomiya (Kobe) stations. We monitor prices, sales, news, etc., and compare to historical data to inform our clients of the best time to buy and how to get the best value for their money. We also can provide reports and articles for Japan travel. Basically we are an information clearinghouse for travel within, to, and from Japan. We do the research so you do not have to! We offer a wide variety of services for our customers. Our basic service is to search for tickets (air, train, bus, etc.) and upon payment we earn a flat commission rate, not percentage base, that way you can rest assured that you are getting the lowest possible ticket price for your itinerary. We pride ourselves for our low prices and ease of service. Happy customers using Kuchi komi (Word of Mouth) is our best possible advertisement! We also offer a full range of other services, both individual and corporate, to serve our clients needs.

We are hiring!

We are currently looking for a web developer with strong web 2.0 credentials. Must have extensive experience with web page design. This is a part-time, contract based position with the possibility of becoming full-time for the right person. Will be responsible for various web pages for our parent company. We are a small company with almost no web presence so far. This position you can work from home or come into one of our offices. Although you do not have to be fluent in English, French, Spanish, or Japanese, must be comfortable working in with these languages and soon others online.     The smartest money I invest in both my personal and company’s travel each year is with a Professional Travel Manager like Ticket Scout Japan. I find the person is like a trusted member of the team…just like my accountant, my lawyer or a banker. I NEED the talents of our travel manager.
    I get time savings….that’s #1 to me….but almost as important, we save money…and that is important in this day and age.
    Time savings comes in MULTIPLE forms…starting with the hassle fo researching and booking, ending with helping me when it’s 3 am and I’m really stuck somewhere…as what happened to me a couple weeks ago on a SIMPLE trip. If it weren’t for our travel manager, (a.) I would have landed at the wrong airport as he airline re-routed me incorrectly and (b.) I would have been without a hotel and paying for one I wasn’t using.
    EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE who travels frequently, I don’t care how “easy” or “simple” the trips are, SHOULD have a Travel Manager…or as I call ours, a Travel Messiah.
    Incidentally, our “Travel Messiah” manages travel for our entire company and I am recommending to those who we do business with…
